The service of the CHF prioritizes in improving the quality of life for the underprivileged. Being the land of coffee plantations, Coorg has a dominant population of the underprivileged and migrant laborers. The foundation mostly looks into the health care needs of these people. It is also actively involved in creating health awareness amongst the population due to prevalence of HIV.
The charity work (towards surgical treatment needs) incurs an expenditure of about 75 lacs/annum (97,400 £) borne entirely by the Coorg Health Foundation. The revenue channeled through dental tourism in the fields of esthetic/cosmetic dentistry is also utilized for the charity surgical works.
